Pauline Power Obituary

Pauline "Polly" Power, 92, died Saturday, November 6, 2010.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Tut and Sadie Lee Elrod Payne, and the wife of the late William "Bill" Ferrell Power.
She was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church, and attended St. John's United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sons, W. Ferrell Power, Jr. and his wife Marian; Ernie Power, and Kenneth W. Power and his wife Dianne; siblings Ernest T. Payne, Jackie Kamman, Robbie L. Walser and Betty Jean Hawkins; grandchildren Sonya McJunkin, Anthony James Power, Cheryl E. Power and Josh Power, and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Payne Smith.
Visitation will be held Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial to follow the service in Rocky Creek Baptist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rocky Creek Baptist Church, 1801 Woodruff Road, Greenville, SC 29607 or St. John's United Methodist Church, 10 Pine Creek Drive, Greenville, SC 29605.
The family will be at the home of Kenneth and Dianne Power, 101 Douglas Drive, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
