Concetta Pennella Obituary

Concetta Pennella, of Greenwich, died peacefully in the Fairfield County Hospice House on January 26. She was 97. Born February 24, 1925 in Morra de Sanctis, Italy to Rocco and Maria.

Concetta is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jerry and Lucy and her granddaughter Maria. She is also survived by her nieces Gerardina, Giuseppina and Linuccia, and her nephews Rocco, Steven and Rocco. She was predeceased by her husband Giuseppe, her infant son, Francesco Antonio and her son Frank; her loving mom and dad, two sisters and her brother and their spouses. The family thanks the nurses and aides who compassionately cared for mom.

To honor her life, family and friends gathered Monday at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday at St. Roch's Church, followed by entombment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Greenwich.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Roch's Church.
