Walter Kenneth "Kenny" Lucas

WALTER KENNETH "KENNY" LUCAS - 86, of Old Greenwich, died Sat. December 17, 2005 at Nathaniel Witherell. Born in Old Greenwich on February 24, 1919, he was the son of the late Walter H. and Frances Hartwright Lucas. Mr. Lucas was a graduate of Greenwich High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II on the USS California, USS Hammondsport, USS Ontario, and the USS Prairie. He received the American Defense Award, the Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific Star, European African, and American Area Good Conduct Medal. Mr. Lucas was a printer with Old Greenwich Printing for many years. He was a member of the Old Greenwich Yacht Club and a Mason for 53 years with the Acacia Lodge. Mr. Lucas is survived by his wife, Signe Rosstad Lucas of Old Greenwich; a daughter Kathleen M. Ambach of Southbridge, MA; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Frederick A.
