RAQUET, Ruth H. Age 98, of Hamilton passed away on October 22, 2015 in Berkeley Square Healthcare. She was born on August 31, 1917 in Hamilton, the daughter of the late Jacob and Clara (Miller) Raquet. Ruth was a 1934 graduate of Hamilton High School. She was employed as a supervisor of payroll taxes when she retired from Champion International Paper after 38 years of employment in 1980. Ruth was a member of the Park Avenue United Methodist Church where she served as past treasurer. She was also president of the Hamilton Women's Bowling Association for 15 years and treasurer of the Ohio Women's Bowling Association for 12 years. Ruth is survived by her nephew Michael Raquet and his wife Linda of Hamilton; niece Karen Raquet of Tallahassee, Florida; great nephew Craig Raquet and his wife Shannon of Fairfield; great nephew Richard Parrett and his wife Linda, Robert Parrett; great niece Traci Simms; great great nephew Connor Raquet and Joshua Simms; great great nieces Jessica Raquet, Morgan Raquet, and Brittney Parrett. She was also preceded in death by two brothers Norman Raquet and Vernon Raquet and a niece Judith Parrett. Funeral services will be held at Weigel Funeral Home 980 N.W. Washington Blvd. Hamilton, on Monday October 26, 2015 at 10:30am with Pastor Sam Harnish officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 9:30am to 10:30am at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Mausoleum.
