Anita "Grandma" (though she hated to be called that!) will be remembered and very much missed by her grandaughter, Lisa. I will miss the many memories created including poptarts in the morning, working at the plastics factory side by side, watching Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, remembering the many many Christmas Eves that were made memorable by her and Grandpa's arrival, her presence at all of my childhood concerts, cribbage and the list goes on. What I will especially remember is the relationship built after the death of our grandfather (who she love dearly), the long talks, Jeopardy. I will miss all of her humorous moments and yes, I will miss my "baileys buddy"! My thoughts and condolences go out to her entire family. May the memories created help you find comfort in her loss. The Shunamans were wonderful next door neighbors of ours for many years. They were always ready to help and lend!
We missed Al so much when he left us and I missed being able to visit Anita next door when she moved to Charlton later on. She was such a sweet person and they were a great couple. Chris

Anita was the last aunt of her generation, to 20+ nieces and nephews and their children. She surprised us all with her ability to carry on after she lost her husband, Al, 8 years ago. I am so pleased that I got to see her and spend time with her each time I visited MA, these last few years and am especially happy that she had her last Christmas with her sister's family at my brother's home. She loved to be around family and she told me how happy she was that we had kept the family traditions going for our own children. My childhood memories are full of times with Anita and Jeannette and how they made their siblings' children their own. Anita, you will be missed - but remembered fondly by all of us. With love and thanks... S

Dear Ron: My sincere sympathies in the loss of your step-mother. I regret that I cannot offer my condolences in person as I am in Florida for the winter months. My thoughts are with you and Gail at this trying time.
