LILLIAN RAMEY Obituary

Lillian Perkins Ramey, 87, of Indialantic-by-the-Sea passed away on April 26, 2014 in Melbourne. She is survived by her son, Lee Ramey of West Melbourne and her daughter, Lynne Ramey Cox of Hartsville, South Carolina as well as many grandchildren. Ms. Ramey was born in Chadbourne, NC, on January 10, 1926. She moved to Melbourne over 50 years ago. Ms. Ramey was an accomplished real estate agent for over 40 years and was active on the Melbourne Board of Realtors. She was an environmentalist and local advocate for the homeless. She greatly loved the beach and the animals of the area.
Funeral arrangements are being made by Fountainhead Funeral Home of Palm Bay. Donations can be made to Brevard Alzheimer's Foundation, Friends of the Enchanted Forest (Enchanted Forest Sanctuary), or Daily Bread Inc. of Melbourne in lieu of flowers.
