Charlotte Anne Green

1943 - 2021

Charlotte Anne Green, 78, of Lake Havasu City, AZ, known to many as "Miss Anne," passed through the gates of Heaven on November 28th, 2021, in Lake Havasu City. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church campus at 1605 S. McCulloch Blvd on December 11th, 2021, at 10:00 am with Pastor Chad Garrison officiating.
Miss Anne was born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, to James and Ernestine Bishop on August 17th, 1943. She danced as a little girl and started teaching dance in Boston, MA, when she was sixteen years old. She opened "Miss Anne's School of Dance" in North Quincy, MA, in the late 60's. She moved to Lake Havasu City in 1976. She worked as an Administrative Assistant to the assistant principal of Lake Havasu High School and taught dance through the Community School program. She opened her own studio in 1985. In 1998, Footlite School of Dance was born, and she taught together with her daughter, Lori Weaver, until 2014. After retiring from teaching dance, she worked for LHC Parks & Recreation in the After School program. The focus of her life was always dance and all the students she has touched through her fifty-five plus years of teaching dance. She loved her family more than anything and her cat, Callie, too! The void of her presence will be deeply felt by all that knew and loved her.
Miss Anne is survived by her son, James Milton and wife Svitlana, of Scottsdale, AZ; her daughter, Lori Weaver and husband Ken, of Lake Havasu City, AZ; her stepdaughters, Diana Green, of Huntington Beach, CA, and Georgette Green, of Long Beach, CA; her five grandchildren - Scott and Kristen Weaver; Tamara, Zarina and Liza Milton; her six great-grandchildren - Cash and Codi, Emily, Skaista, Vincenzo and Nikolai.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernestine and James Bishop, her previous husbands, William Milton and James Green.
