CLYDE STEVENS Obituary
CLYDE RAY STEVENS JR., 72, of Salt Rock, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. He was born October 23, 1943, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Clyde Ray Stevens Sr. and Ruth Pruitt Stevens. He was a retired truck driver and a veteran of the US Army, having served in Vietnam. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Eva Webb. He is survived by his wife, Donna Mae Gue Stevens; three daughters, Cindy Donella Stevens, Rachel Brittany Stevens and Bethany Donella Stevens; two sons, Stephen Russ Stevens and Cody Brandon Stevens; two sisters, Garnett Webb and Patty Warden; one granddaughter and Poppi's pride and joy, Emilynn Kristina Hill; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Russell and Delores Gue; and one brother-in-law, Ronald "Corkey" Gue. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2016, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, with the Rev. Johnny Gue officiating. Entombment will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
