Ira and I were very saddened to read about Suzy's passing. Even though we lost contact with you when you moved from Miami, we always keep pleasant memories of the years on Santona St. when our kids were growing up.

Dear Rick and family,
My sincere sympathy to you and your family, Suzie was a super person. We met when I first arrived at CPCC, her lively personality and great disposition was a warm welcome as a new comer to CPCC. We continued our relationship as I frequently visited HR with material for new instructors. She always greeted me with such a warm reception and a smile. She was by far an asset to the college and a wonderful colleague. I will truly miss her and feel blessed to have met her. She was an astonishing person.

Rick, as you know, I have been through what you are going through. Your family has been constantly in our thoughts since finding out the news upon returning to Charlotte on the 20th. Strong women leave a sometimes bigger void for husbands and Suzie was strong woman.

Cannot begin to tell you how shocked I was this morning to hear of Suzie's transition.
Both of you told me your love story and I remember the sparkle in your eyes as you spoke of your lovely wife the first time I met you.
Happily I got to meet Suzie shortly thereafter and I so enjoyed her wit, her sense of humor and her
zest. We laughed together at the silliest "on the job" predicaments and situations. I looked forward to seeing her again.
Please know that my prayers for comfort are with you.....she is at peace. I know that you will always treasure your special bond of love and happiness together which is yours forever and surely comforted her.
