Brian Coker Obituary

Brian Lee Coker

Brian Lee Coker of Arlington, Washington was born on July 13, 1973 in Seattle, Washington and passed away suddenly on December 13, 2012.
He graduated from Lakewood High School in 1992, and owned his own contractors business - he loved being his own boss!
He will be remembered for his big heart, loving spirit, and love for his family. He could light up a room when he walked in with a smile. He loved the Seahawks, Nascar, and Huskies. He had played on numerous softball teams and was a member of the Lynnwood Elks.
"Coker" set up many charity and memorial golf tournaments for friends that had passed away. This was a passion of his to set up events for others.
Brian leaves behind his fiancé, Sarah Jones; his father and mother, Allen and Peggy Coker; his brothers, Matt (Kami) and Scott; his children, Kalee, Taylor, and Erin; his special nieces and nephew, Karleigh, Lexi, and Macen; his grandparents, Archie (Violet) Coker; many wonderful cousins, aunts, and uncles, and his very special friends, who meant the world to him, and shared his interests and zest for life.
Brian is now an angel in Heaven looking down upon his loved ones, and I'm sure he's up there partying it up - until we meet again.
In Brian's words, "Live for today."
Memorial services will be held at Weller Funeral Home in Arlington, WA on December 29, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. A celebration of Life to follow at The Viking Hall in Silvana, WA.

Allen, Peggy, Matt, Scott & the many family... My heart breaks with each of you. Brian was the life of every party. He started out loving life...and never stopped. Your raised a wonderful person... a son, grandson, father, uncle, cousin, friend. He is with the Lord now & yes, one of His Angels. This is such a difficult journey please take comfort in the Lord. He will sustain you and help you to heal & find joy again one day. Just take one moment at a time. A "Carlson Story": My first meeting with Brian..He was about 3 we were up at the Bremerton Cabin..Bob, Roxanne, Brian & I were canoeing & trying to catch some fish. Brian was looking over the side into the water and was so excited to spot fish in the water...next thing we knew we were picking him up by his ankles. He wasn't scared... Head dripping with water: His famous words with such excitement "Little fishies swimming 'round my head! Little fishies!! Thank you Brian! A zest for life will bring a smile to our face when we think of Brian. He lite up the room, and now he lights up Heaven.
All my love, hugs & prayers to each of you. Anne
