Mary Ann Weaver

Mary Ann Weaver, 89, Palmetto, died Feb. 20, 2004. She was born Feb. 6, 1915, in Winchester, Ky., and came to Palmetto in 1972 from Normal, Ill. She was the former owner of The Collector Antique Shop in Bradenton, and had founded and owned a rental company, Weaver Rent-All, in Normal. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Survivors include daughters Barbara Lesak of Mentor, Ohio, Mary E. Harwood of Round Top, Texas, Toni Petersen of El Paso, Ill., and Joan Petersen of St. Petersburg; sons Daniel of Petrolia, Calif., and John of Bloomington, Ill.; a brother, John Houghtaling of Fort Pierce; 23 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Kicliter Funeral Home, Palmetto, is in charge.
