Frances Stapleton Obituary

Frances G. Stapleton CONOVER Frances Louise Gilbert Hall Stapleton, 72, of Conover, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory. Born June 23, 1940 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Lee Gilbert and the late Laura Hedrick Gilbert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Freida Gilbert and Hazel Riley. She is survived by son, Ronnie Hall, of Conover; daughter, Betty Jean Hinson, of Newton, five brothers, Richard, Glenn, Bobby, Danny, and David Gilbert, all of Conover; four sisters, Eula Winelbuger, of Conover, Martha Hed-rick, of Newton, Mary Travis, of Hickory, and Barbara Austin, of Claremont; five grand-children; and four great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 30, at 10 a.m. at Conover City Cemetery with the Rev. Dwayne Pearson officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at Burke Mortuary in Newton prior to the graveside service. Visit burkemortuary .com to register your condolences online.
