Rosa Ernst Obituary

Rosa M. Ernst, 84, a native of Murnau, Germany, and resident of Houma, passed away recently.
A private service will be held for family and friends at a later date.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna O'Neal, of Houma; son, Robert Arbuckle, of Oklahoma; grandsons, David and Steven O'Neal of Oklahoma; nephew, Ralph Germaine, of Oklahoma; and niece, Sandy Brown, of Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad D. Ernst, who passed away Jan. 30, 2014, in Houma. He was a graduate of LSU, graduated as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Rosa love decorating, ceramics, baking, and sewing. She enjoyed doing so much for others, especially baking her delicious Christmas cookies. She always had a beautiful smile for everyone she came into contact with. She lived life to the fullest and was a kind, loving person who will be dearly missed.
