ARTHUR JOHN POTTER, August 10, 1920 - February 2, 2005. Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather. Leaves behind his wife, Violet A. Potter; son, Thomas; daughter, Elizabeth and husband Gregory Hanneman; granddaughter, Kelly and husband Brad Nickell; great-grandsons, Dillon and Seth Nickell; sister, Lillian Pelzer; sister-in-law, Joan Adams, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by grandson, Douglas Potter. Mr. Potter was awarded the Soldier's Medal for bravery in WWII - awarded Demolay Legion of Honor and a member in good standing of Masonic Lodge AHWRS # 80, Lyndhurst, N.J. Retired from Exxon for whom he worked 42 years serving in Germany, N.J., N.Y., Texas, Washington State, Alaska and Saudi Arabia. Visitation will be on Friday night, February 4, 2005 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2005 in the chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, with interment following in Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
