Benjamin Reed Obituary
1992-2015
Benjamin Ryan Reed, age 23, died suddenly in Austin, Texas on November 17, 2015. Ben was born in Houston, Texas on April 20, 1992 and grew up in Richmond, Texas. Ben attended schools in the Lamar Consolidated School District, graduating from Foster High School in 2009. From there he attended Impact360 in Georgia a faith based gap year program. Upon completion of this program Ben attended and graduated from Baylor University in 2014. At the time of his death, Ben was in his second year at the University Of Texas College Of Pharmacy in Austin, Texas. Ben had many interests, especially music. He was an accomplished singer and musician, and in his youth he was a solo performer for the Fort Bend Boys Choir and later sang in the Men's Choir at Baylor University. Ben is survived by his parents, Michael and Roselle Reed as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2015 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg, Texas.

Mr. & Mrs. Reed, I was so sorry to hear about Ben. I don't know the words to say to bring you comfort in your time of loss, but I pray that you find peace in the arms of Jesus. I have many great memories of Ben and he will be missed.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Reed:
I was fortunate to have taught Benjamin during his P1 year in the College of Pharmacy. I truly enjoyed getting to know your son, he had such passion for pharmacy and a love for the college. I am so sorry for your loss, words just cannot express my heartfelt sorrow. Please know that he touched many lives during his much too short of a stay in Austin.
