Sweet Girl, it´s that time again. I see your picture and cry again. I guess I´ll always miss you. I´ve gotten really old. This was suppose to be a time we would have coffee on my back porch and plan our antiquing trips. Remember, you were going to push me in a wheel chair. We´d really laugh about that. I never dreamed you would be gone. Thank God I have Joe at home with me. I´m not in a wheel chair but I am using a cane. You were such a precious friend. I still miss you. Love you sister friend. Hey Sweet Girl, well here is that time again. I cant believe youve been gone so long. There are just some people that come into your life that even after they are gone stTay in your heart always. You were such a precious friend. Its Spring and I think of you almost every day. This is the time when we were checking out all the nurseries looking for just the right flowers to weather the summer. Helen you just wouldnt believe this Covid-19 ness. Weve been stuck at home for weeks. The only good thing is Joe is home too. That part I love. Are you excited that Daniel is getting married. I wish we could go. Id love to see your sweet family. I really do miss you dear friend. I need to quit writing as Im beginning to cry. If you see Mary Louise, her son Dub or my Mama and DAddy please give them a big hug for me. Lots of love, Edwina

My precious friend, I miss you every day. This is the season when we would get up at the crack of dawn and go antiquing. You would always drive because you had an SUV. It was astounding all the things we could cram in it. Wed share our life stories on those long drives and laugh until we hurt. You were such a wonderful fun friend. We always said sisters from a different mother. I am comforted knowing you are with your Mama. You are gone but never forgotten. With love, Edwina

Precious friend, Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. My mornings have an empty spot that you always filled with your phone call. It was just the right way to start my day. So many sweet memories include you and the fun things we laughed about, planned to do and did together. You will always be a light in my life. I miss you!! Edwina

I had the pleasure of being one of Helen's nurses while she was at MD Anderson Proton Therapy Clinic. I knew from the first day hearing her sweet voice on the other end that I was in for a treat. She truly fought a good fight. The one thing that stands out above anything else is her beautiful smile. It was a honor that she allowed me to put makeup on her and do a photo-shoot to help lift her spirits. You can feel the energy looking at the pictures we took. Such an impeccable woman with a great spirit was called home to suffer no more. I am pleased to say that I was allowed to grace her presence. My condolences to her sons.

To: The children & other family members of Dr. Phillip & Helen Zeve.
We are so sorry to hear about your mother. The fact that it happened so close to Mother's Day just adds to the pain. I recently saw Mellisa Rivers doing an interview & she stated that when you lose one parent, it's like a comma, when you lose the second, it's like a period. I thought that was a neat way to look at it. If you just had to think of something good about it, it would be that she & your dad are now reunited. You all were apparently blessed with Wonderful parents.
God Bless & take care.

I am so blessed to have met Helen: I will never forget the laughs, the long talks and the life lessons you have taught me. I know you are in a better place without pain, but it is still so hard to let you go. I will miss your smile, your kindness and your love. You are truly unique. An amazing mother, grandmother and true friend. I will miss you!

Forever grateful that we crossed paths in this life, Dee Dee

Sweet Girl, I need to add this to your Memorial. The day yesterday was just for your with those who loved you like I do. This is the sweet prayer that was said at Mary Louise's Memorial and for my nephew's Luke Lazarus. I wanted this prayer for your children and their children to give them comfort.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there,I do not sleep,
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet white doves in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die
.
You are FOREVER in our hearts. Lovingly, Edwina

I was blessed to have Helen as a customer when she was taking care of her husbands business, doing projects for PRO-GRAD for her sons, and projects for the many organizations she was a member. She always had a smile on her face and you could feel the true warmth of LOVE of LIFE that she possessed.

As the clinical assistant to one of Helen's doctors I have known Helen for many years. We both loved books. She came to see her doctor, but never once forgot to bring me a "written reading list". I have saved every one of them, probably over a dozen. I read all the books she recommended but one. " I just can't get into this one" I told Helen. She tried to figure out why. "May be it is because you are not from the South" she tried to explain. I have lost a lot of sleep reading the books she recommended. I could not put them down. Even though we saw each other in the clinical setting, we had lovely conversations about the books and life in general. I considered her a friend and always looked forward to her regular clinic visits or phone calls in between clinic visits. I will miss her.

One of the most loving and caring women I will ever know. Helen was the sweetest mom to her children and grandmother to her grandchildren. She also had a wonderful relationship with her brothers, who treated her with unending kindness, love and respect. I will miss you, Helen...as will so many others.

No day will go by that I do not miss you. You were the best friend ever in my life. Rest weel sweet girl. Friends never really die, they live always in our hearts. You surely will always live in mine
Once, a long time ago, we bought buckets and little shovels and headed out to find bluebonnets growing in the wild. We dug them up and brought then home.We were dirty but happy. All the trips to Warrenton antiquing. Your hysterical laugh. Your morning calls. wine on my back porch. Exercising in my pool laughing at how awful we looked in a bathing suit. Listening to you about life and you me. I Miss you Helen.
