I only knew Dr. Goehrs for a short period of time, but he was always so kind and gracious to me. He introduced me to the work I'm now doing, and I will be forever grateful. "Well done,
thou good and faithful servant".

Dr. Homer was, of course, a wonderful and compassionate physician. He was also an avid tennis player and enjoyed things Longhorn - especially Longhorn Baseball. A true gentleman, Dr. Homer will be missed by us all.

"The idea is to die young as late as possible". Ashley Montagu. Homer fully lived this idea. He was such a kind soul with a gracious heart. We were privileged to be able to spend time with him and call him not only our cousin-in-law but a true friend of the heart. We will miss him so much. Our love to you Glenda. You are always in our hearts. Judy and Chris

Dr. Homer Goehrs was "a class act", in every good meaning of the term - an exemplary physician, a good and kind man, an inspirational friend, and a model for family, friends and colleagues. He used his time and energy on this earth well - making significant professional contributions, always with a genuine interest and sincere motivation, and not forgetting how to enjoy life in the process. We will miss his ever-present smile and friendship.

Always a gentleman, Dr Goehrs deserved the huge respect that was felt toward him. Compassionate and caring, his life was tempered by optimism and humor. Rest in Peace. Mike Sharp
