Thank you dad for not only being an incredible father-in-law but a man I could turn to for advice, for conversation, for fun and laughs. Our conversations were so very special, especially when it was just the two of us walking or driving together. You welcomed me into your family before we ever met in person and you always let me know I could talk with you about anything. You are a beautiful man and I will miss you dearly.

Vince (or Jimmy as Pat called him) was a lovely man. We had a carpool with him and Nancy Elkins every Wednesday evening to go to choir practice. After practice he would religiously call Pat to tell her we were on on the way homewhat a love affair they had!
When I left our loving neighborhood to move to Frisco, they invited me over for a glass of wine, which lasted a couple of hours. He told me he wanted the “Potter’s Hand” to be played when he left this world. I hope that happens. I am so sorry I will not be able to attend his service but I will be singing for him!
Love you Jimmy,

It was so easy to fall in love with Vince and Pat. They were a Delightful Couple, and a pleasure to be around. I learned so much from him as he was past President of our Senior Club at POP- Keenagers. He turned our moments in the club as Holy Moments for sure. He also served as our Diocesan Senior Senate Representative .

We will miss seeing Mr. Calicchia at all the Calicchia celebrations. It just won't be the same without his smiling face and warm presence. We always had a fun time talking with him. I will miss his stories of how he first dated Mrs. Calicchia and how he beamed while sharing them. He was a great husband, father, and grandpa. Hugs and prayers to the entire family during this difficult time.

Love,

I am so blessed because Mr. Calicchia was a part of my life. I probably first met him at my brother Ray’s wedding to Susan, but I feel like our relationship grew closer as the years progressed and developed into our very own special bond even outside our family connection. We would love to talk for hours about All My Children and later Days of Our Lives and, along with Mrs. Calicchia, had so much fun talking about the characters as if we knew them personally!!!
I also remember Family Friday night Pizza at the Calicchia’s and it was one of the highlights of my visits to Ray and Susan and Raymond and Meghan over the years!!! I love that this incredible man was there for my brother and treated him as a son and was an amazing Dad to Susan. I recall all those early morning drives to the airport when Ray had to go on business trips not to mention how he was there every time they called. Also he was the cheering Grandpa there for everyone of Raymond and Meghan’s games, performances and events and it was so beautiful when Raymond chose his Grandpa as his confirmation sponsor. That spoke volumes of the amazing man Mr. Calicchia is and the impact his faith has on his family. And you welcomed Kristen and baby Raymond in your sweet, kind way.
More recently, I love how Mr. and Mrs. Calicchia “adopted” my cousin Donna and her son Dillon into their family because it so speaks to the special man he was always welcoming people into his family. And then, when that special bond was formed, he made you feel like family with no barriers separating you from his love and graciousness. My Houston visits will never be the same. I will always remember you Mr. Calicchia and all the love you always gave to everyone. You are truly one in a million and I look forward to seeing you again one day with Our Lord and Savior. Love, Lois Flood
