I met Windy in 1949 and was on a precison squad with he and his brother. Our careers crossed path and last time was in Montreal. I wondered where he retired as the last I knew he was in Orillia.I tried to locate him there but to no avail. He was the last person I knew who knew all the words to a RCEME ditty put together by Paddy McGovern ( another vehicle tech ). Sure would like to resurrect it as many others often ask about it. I wonder if he had it written down somewhere. In the meantime REST IN PEACE Well deserved

Windy Myatt was one of the most graceful and respected military R.C.E.M.E. leader I have known. A man with great integrity. In my mind he lives on.
