Tyson Alexander Twilegar

1975 - 2023

Boise - Tyson A. Twilegar was born on May 26, l975 in Boise, Idaho to Elizabeth (Condon) Pursley and Ron J. Twilegar. He was the youngest of three children. Tyson died on April 12, 2023 from injuries sustained in a traffic accident.

As a child, he loved the natural world and had an adventurous spirit which brought both good natured fun and a fair bit of trouble. From smoke bombs in garbage cans to evading school resource officers, Tyson always knew he wasn't going to live by someone's else's rules.

Tyson graduated from Boise High School in l993 and attended the University of Oregon where his childhood passion for creating with Lego developed into an adult interest in building and architecture. This creativity was evidenced in the tree houses he built, most notable the one he built on the Oregon coast and lived in and the one he built for his daughter, Ruby.

In August 2007 Tyson welcomed Ruby into the world and it was evident the first time he holder she had won his heart. During her early years their relationship was enriched by his sharing his passion for gardening and nature. In 2015 Thomas came into the world. Thomas gave Tyson great pride and joy. Adam, now an adult is living in Europe. Tyson felt his children were his greatest contribution to this world.

In the years preceding his death, Tyson spent much of his time exploring concepts related to theoretical physics. He expressed his understanding of these theories through art, math, reading and engaging in conversation.
