1925 - 2016
Edwin R. Hubble, 90, from Boise, Idaho, died March 4, 2016 of natural causes.
Ed was born June 21, 1925 in Pocatello, Idaho. He married Marilyn Robbins in 1949 in Pocatello, Idaho. He was a devoted husband for 62 years. Ed graduated from University of Utah in Accounting.
He served in the Navy during World War II, then worked for Burroughs Corp. and Home Federal. He enjoyed traveling and woodworking, loved the outdoors and was an avid fly fisherman. He especially loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ed is survived by three children and their spouses: Don Hubble (Rosalyn) Boise, Dr. Greg Hubble (Natalie) Denver, Colorado, Lorie Allen (Rick), Denver, Colorado; seven grandchildren: Justin Hubble, Ashley Hubble, Jennifer Alexander, Spencer Hubble, Whitney Aylor, Jessica Morroni, Courtney Hubble; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Hubble; and his sisters, Beulah Ronning and Marilyn Ball.
Viewing will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Cloverdale Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at Cloverdale Funeral Home Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Dry Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to The American Heart Association.
