G. Tillman Williams, Jr.

Seneca - G. Tillman Williams, Jr., 87, husband of Jane Burriss Williams of 51 years, of 811 Marina Pointe Court, Seneca, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

A native of Lexington County, SC, Mr. Williams was the son of the late George Tillman Williams, Sr. and Lessie Mae Martin Williams. He retired after 55 years from Cherokee, Inc. of Columbia. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and for over 50 years he was a member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. In retirement he was an elected member of the Dispute Review Board of SC Department of Transportation. Mr. Williams was a member of the Oconee ARP Church in Seneca, SC.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Williams is survived by his daughters: Lessie B. Williams of Anderson, SC, Camille Moore (Tim) of Seneca, SC and Claire Giroux-Williams (Cori) of South Burlington, VT; and two grandchildren: Roland Tillman Panu and Lydia Mae Panu.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his brothers: Matt Fulmer, Royce Fulmer and Hayne Williams; and sisters: Keith Fulmer Kell and Savonne Williams Jordan.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Oconee ARP Church with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Seneca, SC.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM, Saturday, prior to the service, at the church.
