Bob Kane Obituary

Bob Kane, 66, of Montrose, passed away after an courageous battle with farmers lung, on Friday, December 7, 2012, at Wilson Hospital.

He was born in Montrose to the late John Michael and Mary Elizabeth (Birney) Kane.

Surviving is his wife, Diana (Shultz) Kane; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sarah and Kevin Chubbuck, Lynn, Mass., Maureen and Jason Campbell, Montrose; son, Cameron Kane, Lancaster; grand-daughter, Molly Chubbuck; sister, Jean Kane, Binghamton, N.Y.; brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Le' Kane, N.C.; aunt, Gen Kane, Scott Twp., and numerous cousins.

Bob was a life long dairy farmer and resident of Montrose. He was a member of the Holy Name of Mary Church. He loved his International Tractors and his farm, "Kaneholm." He was saddened by the death of his beloved dog, Murray, this past summer.
Bob was not only a hard working man, he was also a very compassionate one, willing to help out someone in need in any possible way he could. He was also very devoted to his family.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at the Holy Name of Mary Church, with Rev. Gerard F. Safko, officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Name of Mary Cemetery. Visitations were held Monday at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home. A Prayer Vigil was also held on Monday evening.

Donations in Bob's name can be made to the Endless Mountains Hospital Building Fund, 25 Grow Ave. Montrose, PA 18801.
