Carol Gibbs Obituary
Carol J. Gibbs
76, of Indianapolis, passed away July 19, 2013. She was born June 4, 1937, in Leslie, AR, to the late Shelton and Pearl Harrington Kelley. Carol was a graduate of Leslie High School, AR. She married Robert L. Gibbs November 28, 1980, and was employed as a secretary for Simplex Time Recorder Co. for 25 years, retiring in 1997.
Carol was a past member of Calvary Temple, and a current member of The Bridge Church.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 21, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washing ton Memorial Chapel , 9606 E. Washington St. with funeral services Monday at 10:00 a.m.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Robert L. Gibbs; children, Deborah Lynn Boggs, Eddie Povonder and Anthony King (Randy); grandchildren, Shawna Boggs, Aaron King, Adam Hooten and Robby Povonder; and great-grandchildren, McKinzey Stockhoff and Madison Boggs.
A son, Bob Povonder; a grandson, Brandon William Winston Boggs; seven brothers and a sister, preceded her in death.
