Nancy Vogel Obituary
96, of Beech Grove, passed away March 27, 2015. She was born January 17, 1919 in Jennings County, IN to the late Louis and Pearl Frances Arney Speer.
Nancy was a 1937 graduate of Vernon High School. She married Earnest R. Morris, June 28, 1940 and he preceded in death, October 9, 1970. She then married Charles Vogel, January 29, 1977 and he preceded her in death, June 18, 1997.
Nancy worked as a supervisor of the word processing center for Indiana National Bank for many years, retiring in 1976. She was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Visitation will be today, Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of prayers at 9:00 a.m. at Shirley Brothers Thompson Rd. Chapel, 3333 E. Thompson Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1530 Union Street.
Nancy is survived by her loving children, Frances Irene Schwenn (John), William Louis Morris (Saundra), Paul Robert Morris, Myrna Louise Mosconi (Frederick), Ernest Robert Morris (Debbie), and Rada Marie Tilson (Morris); dear friend, Bronislawa "Bonnie" Raczkowska; two sisters, Barbara Bowers (James) and Donna Arianoutsos; 20 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
A daughter-in-law, Janice Morris, two brothers and four sisters, preceded her in death.
Memorial contributions in Nancy's memory may be made to St Ann Catholic Church, 1872 S. CR 700 W, North Vernon, IN 47265 or to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1530 Union St., Indianapolis IN 46225. www.shirleybrothers.com.
