CELESTINE E. 'CELLY' (nee Keough), on Feb. 14, 2006, age 73, of Roxborough, Phila. Beloved wife of Joseph F. McFadden; loving mother of Celestine (Robert) Sciblo, Marianne (Daniel) Loftus and Joseph (Leigh) McFadden; dear grandmother of Michael, Daniel, Carolyn, James, Alyssa, Evan and Owen; dear sister of Paul Keough, Joan Donnelly, Mary Magoon, the late Genevieve Tyrrell, James Keough and Elizabeth Scheerer. Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Monday morning, 8:30 A.M. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 819 Cathedral Road, Phila. PA 19128, followed by Funeral Mass at 10 A.M. Interment Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Mass Cards would be appreciated or donations in her name can be made to Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Camilla Hall Nursing Home, P.O. Box 675, Immaculata PA 19345-0675.

I'm sorry to hear about Celly. I worked with for many years, a disciplined and direct yet extremely kind person who I always enjoyed talking to. I only saw her rarely the last few years after her retirement, but always enjoyed it when I did. She was that rare person with whom you can pick up a conversation months later as if you had just left off talking to her the other day. I will miss her. She's one of the few people who always made me smile when I saw her.

When I think of Aunt Celly, I think of the Fruits of the Holy Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, all exemplified in Aunt Celly, admired and loved by all.
