Frances Goldstein Obituary

GOLDSTEIN
Frances, Dec. 1, 2005, Scranton, a native of Philadelphia died Thursday at Home. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Irvin Sachs and her second husband Dr. Milton J. Goldstein. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Olga Kamens Dorfman. Prior to moving to Scranton, she owned The Olga Dorfman Woman's Boutique, Bala Cynwyd, PA. She was a member in perpetuity at Temple Israel, Scranton and was a member of Hadassah She was very devoted to her family and extended family. Surviving are 2 daughters, Roni Rosen and husband Don, Gladwyne, PA and Margery Rosenberg, and husband Paul, Scranton. A son, Gary Sachs and wife Beth, Roslyn, NY, a brother, Philip Dorfman, Philadelphia, a son-in-law Stanley Goldberg, Scranton, grandchildren, Blair and Brett Pomerantz, Stacy Hatz and husband, Sandy, Scott Sachs, Bobby Rosenberg and wife Faye, Jane Briskman and husband Arthur, Gary Goldberg and wife Bonnie, Lori Goldberg, Nancy Sebag and husband Sam, Michael Goldberg and wife Allison; 10 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Goldberg. The Funeral will be Sunday at 1 P.M. in the ZIMAN FUNERAL HOME INC., 612 E. Gibson St., Scranton, Interment in Temple Israel Cemetery, Dunmore. Shiva will be observed at the residence of Roni and Don Rosen 727 Dodds Ln., Gladwyne, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Har Zion Temple 1500 Hagys Ford Rd., Penn Valley,Pa. 19072 or the donor's favorite charity.
