Kathy Williams Obituary

Kathy Lawayne Williams, age 59 of Hale, passed away peacefully Dec. 10, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Sept. 17, 1963 in Flint to the late Asa and Eva (Earegood) Williams. Kathy was a resident of Hale. More than anything else loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a great mother and grandmother and she loved spoiling them every chance she could get.
Kathy enjoyed buying lottery tickets and won many times over the years. She also loved traveling with Lynn, including the backwoods roads in her home area. Bingo was a favorite game of hers and played often at the American Legion in years past.
Kathy is survived by Lynn Beebe (step-father to her children); daughters, Angela Merritt and Shannon Merritt; son, Gregory Merritt; brothers, Lonnie, Lyle and Kelly Williams; grandchildren, Taylor and Brooke Pelton, Sabrina, Preston, Savanna, Madisen, and Emma; great grandchildren, Eleanor and Ruby; and many nieces and nephews. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Dallas, Dale, Rick, Ron, and Jamie.
Per Kathy's wishes cremation has taken place. An online guest registry is available at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com to share condolences and memories of Kathy.
