A funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, at the Lighthouse Church, Wallace. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Dail Cemetery, Wallace.
Survivors include wife, Thelma Dail of Wallace; son, Robert Eugene "Gene" Morton of Georgia; daughters, Freda Dail Hatcher of Chinquapin and Kimmie Raynor of Wallace; sisters, Lottie Lloyd of Chinquapin and Elizabeth Pierce of Wallace; brother, Kenneth "Tom" Dail of Wallace; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Donations may be made to Lighthouse Church, 539 Lighthouse Rd., Wallace, NC. 28466.
Arrangements are by Community Funeral Home.
