Terry Pratt Obituary
JONESBORO - Terry Allen Pratt, 65, of Jonesboro passed from his earthly home on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at his home. Terry was born in Paragould on Dec. 8, 1956, to his loving parents, Tom and Margaret Crain Pratt.
Terry graduated from Rector High School in 1975 where he was very active in sports and excelled in basketball and baseball. After graduation, he went to work for Emerson Electric for several years in Paragould before a career option presented itself to him in the restaurant field.
He went on to manage businesses in Texas, Memphis and Jonesboro. Terry was awarded several outstanding awards during his managing career before his health failed.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Leon Johnson.
Terry is survived by his loving wife, Debora Miller-Pratt, daughter, Courtney Barker, and son, D.J. Pratt, all of Jonesboro; stepdaughter, Dana Peek; one brother, Lindell Pratt and wife Merla of Jonesboro; sister, Barbara Johnson of Maryland Heights, Mo.; grandchildren, Gage Barker, Chloe Barker, Callie Combs, Corbit Pratt, Eden Pratt and Vada Sweaney; and great-grandchild, Noble Cornwell.
In addition, he is survived by his former spouse and mother of his daughter Courtney, JoKeaha Sain, and former spouse and mother of D.J., Carole Hoggard.
Visitation and funeral services were Tuesday at Irby-Mitchell Funeral Home in Rector. Brother Kim Bridges officiated. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery at Rector.
