Karen Hultman Obituary

With saddened hearts we have lost our mother, Karen Louise Hultman, on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, due to pancreatic cancer at 63 years old. She passed peacefully.

Karan was a 1970 graduate from Manchester High School and spent all of her life in the nursing and medical field, which she enjoyed. Karen was full of life and spirit.

Karen is survived by her son, Lee Davey and his wife, Kimberly Davey, and their two children Ashlynn and Madeline, from Coventry, and her son, Patrick Davey of Manchester. Karen is also survived by her sister, Ellen Hultman of Vernon and her children, Jodi Curtiss of Coventry and Rick Wilcox of Ellington. She cherished her sons and granddaughters as well as her dogs, Sadie and Esther. She will be greatly missed.

A private gathering will be held for family and close friends.

I worked with Karen for almost 25 years. We went through life's joys and sorrows over those years. I was shocked but grateful that she called me over the summer and told me about her illness. She called me by the nickname she had had given me decades ago and we both laughed about it. It's not often that one has as close a friendship as we did. I will miss her until the end of my days. I never thought I'd say Goodbye so soon. Rest in peace my friend.
