Patricia Ann "Patti" Scuderi

Patricia "Patti" Ann Scuderi, 53, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away Oct. 5, 2015.

She was born in Springfield, the daughter of Ethel (Hendry) Dunn and the late William H. Dunn. She was a 1979 graduate of Southwick High School, where she was part of the varsity field hockey team, and attended Mitchell College in New London on a field hockey scholarship. She served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. Patti and her former husband, Joe Scuderi, were co-owners of Crabby Joes and then she became the owner of The Cove and Brass Rail Pub in Southwick for many years. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her for her big heart and her generosity.

She leaves her two children, Salvatore Dante Scuderi and Gianna Antonietta Scuderi, both of West Suffield; her mother, Ethel Dunn, of Southwick; her siblings, W. Leland Dunn, of Arizona City, Arizona, Edward Dunn and his wife, Phyllis, of West Suffield, Bonnie Norris, of Arizona City, Robert Dunn and his wife, Deborah, of Southwick, Laurence Dunn, of Southwick, Diane Orlando and her husband, Christan, of Plainfield, and Harry Dunn and his wife, Shirley, of Granville; her two stepsons, Matthew Popoli and his wife, Paula, of Mamaroneck, New York, and Kevin Popoli and his wife, Rebecca, of Roswell, Georgia; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, William Dunn, who passed in 2011.

Patti's memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, at 1 p.m. in Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick. Visiting hours will precede the service from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
