Survivors: sons, Dale & wife, Maxine, Syracuse; Harlan & wife, Kay, Syracuse; daughter-in-law, Ramona Hillman, Syracuse; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister-in-laws, Leona Mason, Lincoln; Reva Hillman, Otoe; also survived by many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Henry Hillman on May 4, 1999; son, Lloyd Hillman; grandson, Tyler Pfeiffer; three brothers and four sisters.
Funeral 10:30 a.m. Monday (2/23/09) at First Lutheran Church (North Branch), rural Avoca. Rev. William Dressen officiating. Cemetery: First Lutheran Church (North Branch), rural Avoca. Visitation: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Friday (2/20/09); 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Saturday (2/21/09) and Sunday (2/22/09); ** Casket will be open one hour before church services ** Family suggests memorials to First Lutheran Church (North Branch) or the church cemetery. Kay and Harlan,God bless you in your time of sorrow,I will always remember our conversatios that Emma and I had ranging from the weather to who was gooing to win in the cornhusker games and the she would alwaays say " I love you " when I would leave her room. She was a great lady.

So sorry to hear about Emma, Harlan & Kay. I know you'll miss her a lot. I really enjoyed our occasional lunches together at Linden View. I know Mom will miss her as well. Remember the happy times. God bless.

Weep, but briefly, for your loved one as she enters into the Kingdom of God. For she shall possess a joy and peace that is unattainable on God's earthly realm. Rather, rejoice in the everlasting and total happiness, for her eyes have seen God.
