Jean Kressbach Obituary

Kressbach, Jean M. Of Presque Isle, ME, age 79, passed away Friday May 7, 2010, at a Presque Isle health care facility. She was born April 20, 1931, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Kramer) Luettgen. Jean graduated high school and also earned a degree from the University of Wisconsin as a dental assistant. In addition to being employed as a dental assistant, Jean also operated an antique business with her husband James, owned a drapery business, and was a seamstress. Jean and James were married February 23, 1952, and enjoyed fifty eight years together. She is also survived by four children, Jeffrey Kressbach (Jennifer) of Snohomish, WA, Peggy Kressbach Ross of Presque Isle, ME, Andrew Kressbach (Jane) of Brunswick, ME, Lee Kressbach (Joi) of Yarmouth; six grandchildren, Wendy Bell (Allan), Aaron Kressbach, Nicholas Kressbach, Hannah Kressbach, Laura Kressbach, Anna Krassbach; two great-grandchildren, Alexis and James Bell. She also leaves behind a brother Art Luettgen, of Milwaukee, and a sister Helen Ehrke, of Brookfield, WI, as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister Dorothy Arntz and a brother Paul Luettgen. A memorial service will be conducted 11 AM Monday, May 10, 2010, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, ME, with Pastor Larry Palmer officiating.
