My wife and I moved in accross the street from Mary about 12 years ago. In getting to know the neighbors we were excited to learn that Mary had spent some time growing up in our house. That was the start of getting to know a tremendous lady. During the past 12 years we have had 2 children that came to think of Mary like a grandma. Our daughter Sarah, who is now 11, has not known life without Mary and was very sad to hear the news, as were the rest of us. As I explained to my youngest son Ryan, who is 5, "Mary is a young girl again playing with Jesus in heaven". Mary was a very wonderful caring woman who we are all better for by having had the opportunity to know her.
