Loreta Scharnhorst Obituary

Scharnhorst, Loreta Bell, 71, (November 18, 1938 April 22, 2010) --- Retired from Cessna. Born Loreta Lynes in Vici, Oklahoma, to James and Opal Lynes, the fourth of five children. Married to John Sharnhorst (d. 2004) March 12, 1956. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Scharnhorst, James and Opal Lynes and her two brothers, James and Carl Lynes. Survivors include her two children, Owen (Juanita) Scharnhorst and Rita Coen (Scharnhorst) both of Wichita; her two sisters, Veena Bookstore (Lynes) and Orpha Evans (Lynes), both Woodward, OK; her five grandchildren, Jason (Rachelle), Sunny and Mathew Scharnhorst, Mallory and Clinton Coen, and her three great-grandchildren, Noelle, Eliza and William Scharnhorst all of Wichita. Funeral services will be held on 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the Nichols Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bert Cutsinger officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Church Cemetery.
