Basehor, Kansas - Clifton Bernard DeMoss, 94, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at his son's home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday, July 30, 2024 with the rosary at 6 PM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church, with the Funeral Mass Services to follow at 10 AM, Wednesday, July 31, 2024, also at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Basehor, KS with burial to follow in the Holy Angels Catholic Cemetery near Basehor, KS. The family suggests memorial contributions to Holy Angels Catholic Church for Mass intentions in Clifton's name or Donations to Transalpine Redemptorists, Inc. 1134 Cedar Ridge Ln., #34, Park Hill, KY 41011–3835. Clifton was born November 27, 1929 in Kansas City, KS. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Kathryn (Ehlen), one infant son David DeMoss, daughter Deborah (DeMoss) Gatz and his sister Bonnie (DeMoss) Willis. He is survived by his daughter Jan (DeMoss) Dowell, and one son Clifton DeMoss Jr. and his wife Sue, one sister Suzanne (DeMoss) Lightle, 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
