MARIAN MCPHERSON Obituary

Marian McPherson, 83, Kansas City North, Mo., passed away October 8, 2013, at Life Care Center in Grandview, Mo., after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Marian was born the daughter of Ted and Emma Hillebrenner on June 28, 1930, in Kansas City, Mo. She graduated from Central High School. Marian was united in marriage with James McPherson on Nov. 5, 1948. He preceded her in death Nov. 24, 1998. Marian retired from Macys/Dillards in 2000 after 32 years of service. She was a member of Park Hill Christian Church. Marian is survived by her five children who all live in the Kansas City area, Linda Fuller-Hull (Michael), Dennis McPherson (Donna Coatsworth), Deanna McPherson, Janet Lapp (Darrell), and Tom McPherson (Debra). She will be very much missed by her six grandchildren, Brian Fuller, 34 of Portland, Ore., Emily Lapp, 20, and Alexander Lapp, 17, of Liberty, Mo., Zachary McPherson, 21 Joshua McPherson, 17, and Kyle McPherson, almost 14, of Kansas City North. Service 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, at Park Hill Christian Church, 6601 NW 72nd St., Kansas City. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Gladstone, Mo. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090.
