Helen Bridges Obituary

MT STERLING - Helen Blackburn Bridges, 88, widow of James C. Bridges, died Tue, Dec 4, 2007. Born in Winchester, KY, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Carolyn Prewitt Blackburn. After graduating from the University of Kentucky, she taught at Lafayette High School, Lexington, until her marriage. She was also a member of First Christian Church, Mt. Sterling, KY. She is survived by her daughters, Anne Bridges McCullough (Harold Upper), Lexington and Mary Bridges (Robert C.) Gatewood, Louisville; six grandchildren, David, John and William McCullough, Embry (Chris) Hussin, Elizabeth and Catherine Gatewood: two great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Jack Hussin. Visitation will be 10am-12pm Fri at W.R. Milward Mortuary-Broadway. Services will be private. www.milwardfuneral.com
