Cletus Scott Obituary
He was born July 25, 1912, in Ladysmith, Wisconsin.
Cletus had worked as machinist at Dana Corp. and then later started Scott Insurance Agency and Tax Service in Auburn.
He enjoyed bowling, fishing, sports and golfing.
He is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Scott of Auburn; grandsons, Jeff Bailey of Bonita Springs, Florida, James (Truly) Bailey of Waterloo, and J. Kristopher Bailey of Auburn; his stepsons, Dwight (Laura) Simpson of Fort Wayne and Duane Simpson of Albion; nieces, Janice (Pete) Scott Atkins of Auburn and Deborah (Larry) Newton of Huntertown; nephews, Douglas (Joy) Scott of West Lafayette and John (Daisy) Rennwald of Beaufort, North Carolina; stepgrandchildren, Scott Simpson of Fort Wayne and Stephen Simpson of Fort Wayne; sister-in-law, Alice Scott of Auburn; and fiance, Maxine Mason of Auburn.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Georgia Kline Scott and Mildred Simpson Scott; sisters, Beatrice Scott Zehner Bickel and Arletta Scott Walker; brother, Floyd Scott; nephews, Richard Zehner, Terry Walker, Jerry Walker, Jim Walker and Jack Rennwald; and a niece, Joan Kohl.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, with visitation one hour prior, at Pinnington-McComb Funeral and Cremation Services, 502 N. Main St., Auburn.
Visitation will also be held Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Waterloo Memorial Cemetery.
Memorials are to the Garrett Eagles, Moose Lodge 566 or Heimach Senior Activity Center.
