Gerald Lingelbach Obituary

September 30, 1934 - August 22, 2018 Gerald "Bud" Anthony Lingelbach, 83, of Newport Beach, California, passed away on August 22, 2018 of natural causes. Gerald was born in Los Angeles, California, and founded "Anthony Doors" with a partner in 1958. Anthony Doors designed and manufactured the first self-closing aluminum/glass refrigerator door as still seen in many of your favorite retailers. Gerald sold the company and retired in 1986. Gerald enjoyed deep sea fishing, traveling, and fine dining. He was known for his amazing storytelling and impeccable style. He is survived by his wife Antoinette; his daughter Jacquelyn Lingelbach-Meneke, four stepchildren, and three grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Pacific View Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3500 Pacific View Dr., Corona Del Mar, California 92625.
