Alfredo PORCO Obituary
Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, September 4, 2016. Beloved husband of Anna-Maria; loving father of Vincenzo (Tina), Kharla (Julio) and Claudia. Cherished grandfather of Marina, Alfredo, Luis, Claudia-Mar, Julio-Antonio and Carlo-Julio. Dear brother-in-law of Ottavio and Ada Bucciarelli. Fondly remembered by his nephew Pasquale Furelli (Randa) and their children Ada, Amanda and Stefano; as well as Adrianna Elliott (Matthew) and Leo Porco. Alfredo will also be dearly missed by many family and friends in Italy and Venezuela. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Tuesday, September 6 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, September 7 at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony's Church, 427 Booth Street. Entombment at Hope Cemetery. Donations in memory of Alfredo to CHEO would be greatly appreciated.

To the Family: Our deepest condolences. Alfredo was an icon in Ottawa South (Conroy Mall) for many years. We all enjoyed having our hair cut in his salon. He was the first barber to cut our son Tim`s hair in 1991. Conversations flowed, and laughter was always abundant. He will be missed.
