Bessie Houston Obituary
Celebration of Life Services will begin Friday October 20th with Bessie lying in State at Mt Sinai MB Church, 2841 W. Washington Blvd. 12-6pm. Afterwards a Memorial Gathering will be held at Marillac Social Center, 2859 W. Jackson Blvd 7-10pm. On Saturday, October 21st services begin with the wake at 10-12pm and funeral 12-2pm. Bessie will be interred Monday, October 23rd in Detroit Michigan at Gethsemane Cemetery at 12pm. All are welcome to each event. Please come and celebrate the life of this iconic and gifted woman.
