In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Julie, Ricky and David: Words cannot express how grateful I am for your mother's friendship to mine. It was always Ms. Clara who called to see if Mama needed a ride to church, etc. after Daddy died.
I am sure that she and Mama are organizing a ladies sodality in Heaven as we speak! Alyn Mayo Bailey

I thank God for giving me such a wonderful grandmother. I will never forget all the wonderful memories. I praise our God for ending her suffering and taking her Home, and I rejoice in the hope that because Jesus Christ died and rose again, I will see her again one day.
