The world lost one of the best people in it. Debby was a kind, generous, thoughtful friend to me and many, many other co-workers at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas. She made a huge impact with her intelligence, skills and her professionalism in her work. But more than that, Debby had a rare, wonderful and genuine spark to her that made the people around her better for just knowing her. She will be missed so much!

Jerry, Darin, Rachel and Marion - Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow with Debby's passing. She truly was a "Beautiful" person. I actually first met Debby when she was a young girl back in the late 70's and her mother (Marion)brought her to work at the Payless Shoe's Corp office and proudly introduced her to co-workers. Margie and I got to know her through later years as friends with Jerry. Jerry and I were high school friends and as single guys in the mid-70's we were roommates in Topeka. I know that you will have wonderful memories of her in the years to come. May God Bless and Keep her!

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, an entire life time to forget them. May God's love be with family and loved ones, forever, like her legacy will be.

Jerry, Darin, Rachel and Marion -
Life shines less bright now. Debby has been a very important part of my life for 14 yrs and that will never change. She made such an incredible change in me and I will always remember her as a sister. Debby loved you all so much. Jerry, Debby was the first woman I ever met that showed me how deeply she loved, admired and depended on her man. Darin, she is as proud of the man you have become as she was of the little boy she held in her arms. Rachel, Debby admired how you were your own person and always wished she could be more like you. Marion, you took such good care of her. Debby knew how blessed she was to have you there. God took a piece of us away on Tuesday, but I know she is always with us. God bless you all.

Debbie was an incredible person that stayed positive no matter the circumstance, it was always uplifting to talk to her. And from hearing the stories from her family, she was someone to loved life and lived it to the fullest. She will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
