RICHMOND, Dora (nee Hammersmith) 1919 - 2007 It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Dora Richmond on October 16th, 2007 at the Grey Nun's Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 88 years. Dora is survived by her son Bob and his wife Margery of Fort Collins, Colorado, her granddaughter Carla and husband Kieren and cherished great-granddaughter Roisin of Winnipeg and grandson Clinton of Fort Collins. She is survived by her daughter Charlotte and husband John Lazorek of Hinton, granddaughters Nicole of Edmonton and Jennifer of Hinton and grandson Michael and his wife Carmen of London, Ontario. She is also survived by her older brother Alvin Hammersmith of Saskatoon and sister Phyllis McLeod of Duncan, B.C., nieces Karen, Lynda and Susan and nephews Jerry, Laurae, Garry, Ted, Jack, Dwayne and Lee and special friends the Strembickes. Dora was predeceased by her husband, companion and friend Cyril in 1984 and her brother Orin in 2004. We will miss her greatly and to us she will always be truly forever young. Funeral Services for Dora Richmond will be held on Friday, October 26th, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hinton United Church with Worship Minister Kimberly Roy officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Hinton, Alberta. In lieu of floral tributes, donations if desired may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in memory of Dora Richmond.
