Dorothy E. Hillman

Dorothy E. Hillman, of Lockport, NY, entered into rest suddenly Friday, October 10, 2008 at home. She was born in Watkins Glen, NY on June 5, 1928, the daughter of the late Leon and Florence Decker Mapes. She was a graduate of Watkins Glen High School and later attended Bryant and Stratton School. Dorothy enjoyed NASCAR, especially was an Earnhardt fan. She married Elwood Hillman on September 19, 1975.Dorothy worked at Your Host in Lockport for many years as a waitress. She had lived in Lockport for the past 35 years coming from Burt, NY. She also enjoyed traveling and camping. Wife of Elwood Hillman. Mother of Fredrick W. Scholtisek of Houston, TX, Joseph Scholtisek of Lockport, NY, Elaine R. Scholtisek (Robert Clare) of Appleton, NY, Randy P. Scholtisek of Ransomville, NY and Brian C. (Lisa) Scholtisek of Long Island. Also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2670 Main St., Newfane, NY, MONDAY 7-9 PM, where funeral services will be held TUESDAY at 11:00 AM.
