The 2012 edition of the Canadian Steel Guitar Show in Caroline, AB was dedicated to the memory of Doug Aman. He was a dear friend for many years & is truly missed by all who knew him. RIP Doug! I know you are pickin' with many friends who arrived in Heaven before you. I will always remember the many good times we shared. Luv Ya!

Doug Worked on my steel just last fall.
He was always ready to show you a new intro or fill. We will miss him greatly.

Played a lot of gigs with Doug, and used him on a lot of recording sessions; always did a great job. Will miss him, was always a bit of a "character".

Doug worked in my band, the Prairie Fire Band, for several years. He was a first class musician and a good friend.
Rest in peace, buddy...and say hi to some of the others who have gone before you...Ken Near, Danny Marshall, and of course...Big George.
