FRANCIS C.
Age 74, of Greenville, NC, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Wed., Dec. 19, 2012. Beloved husband of Ruth (Flandro) Myers; father of Michael (Jodie) of Winterhaven, FL, Gregory of Baltimore, MD and Colleen Myers of Pgh.; brother of Marguerite (Dick) Pilcher of Pgh., James (Billie Ann), Goldsboro, NC, and Philip (Joanne) Myers of Pgh.; grandfather of Elizabeth, Melissa, Matthew, Christina, and Haley; also numerous nieces and nephews; and Ruth's children, Francis, Susan, Christine, and Stacy; and her six grandchildren. Fran worked for U.S.P.S. for 36 years, retiring as Postmaster of Imperial, PA. He officiated W.P.I.A.L. football and basketball and umpired softball for the Pgh. City League. Friends received THURSDAY 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at WM. F. CONROY FUNERAL HOME, 2944 Chartiers Ave., Sheraden. Funeral Mass in Holy Innocents Church Friday, 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kitty Askins Hospice Ctr., 107 Handley Park Ct., Goldsboro, NC 27534.
