Gabriella Ellwood Van Ginkel Obituary
It is with profound sadness that William and Carla announce the passing of their mother, mentor and friend, Gabriella Catherina, April 11, 2011. She is grandmother to Joe Mastromattei (Sharon), and great-grandmother to Will. Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia in 1925, she is survived by sisters Corletta and Margeurita and brothers Rudy and Stanley.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Cresmount Fennell Chapel (322 Fennell Ave. E, Hamilton), from 3-5 p.m. Private Family burial will take place at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
"Gabriella will always live in our hearts, our memories and in the way we view the world. We will find comfort in her presence all around us, now and forever."

Carla and William,
We are sorry we didn't respond sooner but we only heard of Aunt Lala's death. Please accept out deepest sympathy. We know she wasn't well but death is never easy. She is now with my mother/her sister.

I learned so very much from Gabriella. I enjoyed the time I spent with her and loved her company and sense of humour. She was an incredible soul. God Bless her. God Bless her family.
